dat practical armor

I love every aspect of this.

NO you guys don’t understand, the entire book is like this. They tried to cram in all sorts of representation of different races and the art is gorgeous and it’s GREAT! The picture for a spellcaster is a female human who is wearing BAGGY, NON-SEXUALIZED CLOTHING AND NO MAKEUP because she’s in a dungeon, she doesn’t have time to do her hair cmon.
Also this:

You know, this makes D&D more accessible to me. I tried to play. I tried to play with a bunch of white dudes and I just couldn’t. I just couldn’t handle all the male fuckery

OMG ALL THE ABOVE COMMENTARY MAKES ME SO HAPPY
!!!!!!!!

DnD is def shaped by the party you play with. As far as I know the only limit has been your imagination, but it’s excellent that they got specific in this edition. I’m gunna have to grab Steven’s copy and take a look.

Apparently it’s not socially acceptable for a man to invite another man out just for coffee or to go out for a meal, in case it’s perceived as a date. Like it’s fine if you wanna go to the pub and drink beer and have a chat but make it non-alcoholic and suddenly you’re not straight anymore? You can go to the cinema together but ONLY if it’s an action movie. You guys can’t even just go shopping with each other. Oh masculinity, so fragile, so strange.

i never knew friendzoning boys was as easy as saying thanks im gonna use my manners more

further evidence that straight boys think compliments are magic words that are supposed to make women immediately strip naked

What’s the appropriate, non-friendzoning response?
"You look pretty today."
"Okay, fine, I’ll suck your dick."

when will  straight boys stop

Stromae - Papaoutai

Last year the most popular video on French TV and the number one song in France and Belgium was “Papaoutai” by Belgian singer Stromae. The tune and rhythms are appealing and unusual; the video is compelling and, ultimately, moving. Though the title sounds like it could be a word in an African language, it is actually meant to be understood by French speakers as meaning “Papa, où t’es?” which translates as “Dad, where are you?” The song and the story of the video refer to the absence of Stromae’s father, who was killed in the Rwandan genocide of 1994. The plaintive cry of the singer who feels the absence of his father is also expressed in the child in the video who begs his mannequin-like father to come to life.
